SOFTLY AS I LEAVE YOU [LP]




ANNO DI PUBBLICAZIONE: settembre 1985.
LABEL: Musique Records (1.4.85).
NOTE: questo doppio LP include l’ultimo spettacolo che Elvis tenne a Las Vegas il 12 dicembre del 1976.
Curiosità: sui dischi, invece di “side 1” o “side A“, troviamo scritto “cocaine sam one“… Inoltre “You gave me a mountain” è intitolata “Lord this time you gave me a mountain”.
Per concludere da segnalare un errore nella back cover: “Can’t help falling in love” è segnata come ultima canzone del disco 1 lato B mentre invece non è così: ovviamente è l’ultima canzone del disco 2 lato B.
Questo spettacolo sarà poi ripubblicato in un doppio CD nel 1998 “Black diamond” su etichetta “Generations” con una resa sonora decisamente migliore rispetto a questo vecchio bootleg.

    The final show at Vegas was a swansong to Elvis live performances there
    He wore the blue ace of spades suit on this show
    Many great songs were sung on it
